Okay, hi. If you’re reading this, you found the very first post on this very new site, so thank you for that.
Quick version of who I am, for context: I’m a mom of two in the South Bay, and my path here was not a straight line. If you want the longer version (or the resume version, on LinkedIn), it’s on the about page. This site is not that.
This site is for the other thing I’ve been doing: building stuff with an AI agent (his name is Bo, he lives on my phone and computer, we talk more than I talk to some humans) and writing down what actually happens. Not the polished version. The real version, including the parts where it breaks, where I have to explain what I actually meant, and where something works way better than I expected.
A few reasons I’m doing this in public instead of just, you know, doing it:
It’s genuinely fun. I didn’t expect that. I thought this would feel like more work admin. Instead it feels like having a very patient, very fast collaborator who never gets annoyed when I change my mind halfway through.
A lot of what I’m building is for my household, specifically the parts that usually fall on moms by default. If you’ve seen the documentary “Fair Play,” you know exactly what I mean. I want being a parent, especially the invisible logistics of it, to be easier and more streamlined. I think agents can genuinely help with that, and I want to show my work.
I’m exploring homeschooling my four year old next year, and I’m already building small tools around that. That’ll show up here too.
My husband, for what it’s worth, is a computer vision and space nerd and will happily explain either one to you at dinner whether you asked or not. He finds the agent stuff genuinely cool, which I appreciate, because our two kids mostly find it cool that I let them name things.
